Testing notes : This 2006 Merlot is a multi regional blend with significant proportion from South Burnett.It is deep crimson in colour and exudes aromas of ripe stewed plums,black cherries and warm spicy oak.This Merlot has juicy plumy palate follows from the nose with intense ripe fruits and enhanced by mulberry and dark chocolate flacours with earthy characteristics.Further complexity is shown with spicy oak,this well structured wine has approachable tannins and a soft lengthy finish..
